Production Logo
I have chosen several different logos to put at the start of my trailer to make it look more professional. My logos are Purple Monkey productions, Flying Giraffe productions, Hairy Leopard productions and Golden Bee productions. I have yet to choose which logo I will be using at the start of my trailer. I will do some research by asking people which logo they prefer and why.

The Human Centipede Poster
The poster shows is clips from the film, this makes it easier to relate to. The slogans '100% medically accurate' makes it sound more like a documentary then a film. The image of the man shows that he his the boss and bigger than everyone else, this is linked to the film because he's the Dr who preforms the surgery. The images on the poster show the most gruesome parts of the film, which are when they are tied together, the poster as a whole is qquite disturbing, like the film
trailer because he doesn't look right from the start and this confirms our suspicions.

The Human Centipede Trailer
I chose this trailer because it's not a typical horror film. The trailer starts of in a hotel with two calls talking, this isn't a usual opening to a horror film, due to the bright colour and the tone of their voices. The next clip is of them driving in the dark and the tyre goes flat this is beginning to look more like a horror film. Deep music is used in the background to make it seem more frightening and anxious. A closer of the mans face in the window makes it seem like hes not quite the man they think he is, and that he has a dark side to him. A deep beat is used in between clips maybe to represent a heart beat. As the man switches the light on a mans face shoots towards the screen and the diagetic sound of screaming in heard. The beats then begin to get faster and louder as the clip continues.

Paranormal Activity Magazine Cover
The magazine cover portrays a different idea than the DVD cover because the DVD cover shows a clip from the film but this makes the films look more like a comedy than a horror. The image is of a man cuddling up to the woman to comfort, this is quite typical, showing the man all brave and 'macho' and showing the woman afraid. The image also show him holding her hand, this shows that shes maybe in pain or scared and hes there to comfort and protect her.
The pink stars around the poster make it more feminine, which isn't the colour scheme of a horror film cover. The other colours are also quite feminine and romantic. The title is in bold which makes it stand out more than the rest of the writing on the page, also the thin red bold outline around the title draws peoples attention because its eye catching.
The Unborn Magazine Cover
Paranormal Activity DVD Cover
The Paranormal activity DVD covers has slogans that makes people want to watch it. 'WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU SLEEP?' This makes is quite mysterious, and you want to know what could happen when your asleep. Another slogan is 'One of the SCARIEST AT-HOME VIEWING EXPERIENCES ever'. The use of capitals makes it stand out and its kind of in your face as if someone is shouting it. The use of the image with the time in the corner, gives a look of a home made movie. The title is in capitals to make it stand, but also in red which could symbolise blood, death or murder. The shadow on the door makes it mysterious because there is no one there to cast it.
The Unborn DVD cover
The colours used a dark cold colours also red is used to sybolise blood for example the blood splatter on the wall makes it seem more like a horror film. The age certificate is only 15 which suggests it isnt as scary as it could be, beacuse its suitable for 15 year olds.

The Unborn
I chose this trailer becuase its quite strange and leaves people wondering, this trailer starts like a normal day to day life of a woman babysitting, but then starts to get stranger when she goes upstairs and the child says 'he wants to be born now'. This shows people that the film may have a twist but doesnt give to much away. A soft sound of a piano is playing in the background as the trailer carries on. The music stop when she plays a film and just the sound of the trailer is being played is heard, diagetic sound is used like people talking and screaming. Another sound is playing like drumbeat and its quite fast this could represent a heart beating, this gets lounder and fast as the trailer continues.
Paranormal Activity
I chose this trailer because it is quite different from other horror films as it is filmed with a hand held camera and it is made to look like a home video as it doesnt have a soundtrack, the trailer used diagetic sounds like the door creaking, people talking and screaming. This would grab the attention if the audience as it is different from other films, and creates suspence and keeps people on the edge of their seats. I believe trailers like this attract more people due to the lengh of it, because if its short quick and snappy and gets to the point more people want to see and but if it goes on for a while it may start to get boring becuase too much information is being given away and it takes the suspence and edge away from the film.
